"i wish i could put this last week into words between the sunrises, hostel stays, eating breakfast with the ocean kissing my feet, shopping at the local market, hanging out with the locals, exploring street art, language differences, security checks, customs, running through airports, and shitty airline coffee. those are the things i’m going to remember. but more than that i’m going to remember the feelings i felt on this trip. the laughs i had, the smiles i cracked, and the way i felt more alive than i have in a long time. for me it’s all about the feeling. coming from someone who spent so much time feeling nothing this week i felt it all, and i’ll run through airports for the rest of my life if it means running away from the numbness."
